Tito is saying goodbye !

July 5th, 2007 by sweeety

Our friend Tito wrote this for u guys and asked me to post it.

” Bahrain Planet Blog has been officially closed up and entering retirement. The site have gone away already and I will no longer be updating. This is the last post (Maybe there’ll be a future comeback, who knows).

Due to research work, bad-mood strikes , continued stress at life, and other personal endeavors, I just don’t have the time I once I had for scouring the blogging universe and running a site at the level of quality that I expect from myself. There are plenty of Bahraini blogs out there now, some really great ones.

It has really been fun, pleasure and honour being a part of the Bahraini blogging community. I have emailed and talked to some great people and have seen great outpourings of support and thanks. My best to you all!

Kind regards,

Tito”

Last day at training !

May 10th, 2007 by sweeety

Two days ago was my last day at training =(
Didn’t want to leave really. I wanted to stay more.

I have a chance to stay there till August which is a very good experience to be added to my CV later when I graduate and I’d learn a lot in such period but the problem is that I feel I cant handle studying and working at the same time.

I thought of getting less subjects but I am planning to graduate by April 2008 inshallah and I don’t think I want to postpond it. I guess I just have to take out the idea of working from my mind.

University is back again, gonna start next week.

How much bad should I feel seeing myself stuck in uni while everybody else is in a vacation traveling, sleeping and going out ?

Don’t even want to think about it =(

The Story of العذراء حريصة =)

May 1st, 2007 by sweeety

Hello,

Today I was bored I take out some old albums and started viewing the photos. I found Lebanon album , what a memories !

One of the most beautiful places I’ve been there is a church called العذراء حريصة .

leb

It is located in “Junia” on the top of a mountain. You have to use telpherage to go up there. I have gone there twice its really amazing specially when u go up in the telpherage and look down to see the sea and green hills view under you.

leb1

The story of this church as I heared is that Lebanon was facing a danger and people started praying and worship to مريم العذراء and asking her to protect them from this danger. When the danger was over they built this caryatid for her on the top of the mountain and make it a place to worship and called her حريصة because she protected Junia.

Really worth visiting =)
